DOCUTAH International Film Festival Returns to St. George for 16th Season

The award-winning DOCUTAH International Film Festival returns to Megaplex Theatres at Sunset February 26-28, featuring documentary films from around the world and filmmaker Q&A sessions.

January 28, 2026 — The DOCUTAH International Film Festival, recognized by Moviemaker Magazine as one of the "25 coolest film festivals," returns to St. George for its 16th season February 26-28, 2026, at Megaplex Theatres at Sunset.

Founded by acclaimed filmmaker Phil Tuckett, a 30-time Emmy Award winner, DOCUTAH has grown from a local film showcase into an internationally recognized festival that attracts documentary filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts from across the globe.

Three Days of Documentary Film

The three-day festival at Megaplex Theatres at Sunset features curated documentary screenings spanning diverse subjects from social justice and environmental conservation to personal stories and cultural exploration. Each screening is followed by filmmaker Q&A sessions, giving audiences direct access to the creative minds behind the films.

DOCUTAH's mission centers on opening hearts and minds to the world through beautifully crafted stories on film, promoting education while creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and community. The festival has consistently delivered on that promise, bringing award-winning documentaries to Southern Utah that might otherwise never screen in the region.
