Utah Tech Men's Basketball Home Opener vs. Grace

<a href="/businesses/utah-tech-university/">Utah Tech</a> men's basketball opens its 2026-27 regular-season home schedule against Grace University on <strong>Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 7 p.m.</strong> at Burns Arena in <a href="/city/st-george/">St. George</a>. The Trailblazers play two exhibitions at Burns Arena in October (Utah Valley on October 17 and West Coast Baptist College on October 24) and open the regular season on the road at New Mexico on November 2 before this first home game. The Last Days of Judas Iscariot

Utah Tech Theatre stages Stephen Adly Guirgis's <strong>The Last Days of Judas Iscariot</strong> on <strong>November 5 to 7 and November 10 to 14, 2026</strong>, in the Eccles Blackbox Theatre on the <a href="/businesses/utah-tech-university/">Utah Tech University</a> campus in <a href="/city/st-george/">St. George</a>. The play is set in a time-bending courtroom somewhere between heaven and hell, where Judas Iscariot's fate is put on trial. Saints, sinners, historical figures and unexpected witnesses take the stand as the court wrestles with guilt, forgiveness, free will and whether anyone is truly beyond redemption. The theatre department calls it a fiercely funny and deeply moving drama and a fresh look at one of history's most infamous figures. The department recommends the show for mature audiences because of strong language, religious themes, sexual references, discussions of suicide and mental illness, and depictions of violence. Curtain times are not listed on the performance schedule yet; tickets are sold through the Utah Tech ticket office at utahtech.evenue.net. <a href="/businesses/utah-tech-university/">Utah Tech University</a> Homecoming week runs <strong>November 9-14, 2026</strong> in <a href="/city/st-george/">St. George</a>. It opens Monday, November 9, with the Kick-Off Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and the Blazer Dash at 7:30 p.m. on Gardner Plaza. The Scholarship Competition is Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. on the Eccles Mainstage, and the Homecoming Carnival is Friday, November 13, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on the Encampment Mall. Saturday, November 14, brings the Homecoming Parade on University Avenue (700 East) in the morning (time to be announced), the Trailblazer Village tailgate from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Atwood Innovation Plaza, and Trailblazers football against Eastern Washington at 2 p.m. at Greater Zion Stadium. The <a href="/events/snow-canyon-half-marathon-10k-5k-fun-run-2026/">Snow Canyon Half Marathon</a> is the same Saturday morning, so plan for traffic.

Utah Tech Veterans Day Commemoration

<a href="/businesses/utah-tech-university/">Utah Tech University</a> holds its <strong>Veterans Day Commemoration</strong> on <strong>Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 1 to 2 p.m.</strong> at the Campus Veterans Memorial in <a href="/city/st-george/">St. George</a>. The university's Veterans and Military Services office describes it as a ceremony honoring living and deceased veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces who served honorably during war or peacetime.
