Child-Led Montessori Preschool and Early Elementary Education

Founded and directed by educator Margaret Williams alongside board members Rose Hammon and Stan Shepp, Creekside Montessori provides a nurturing, hands-on educational environment where young learners develop independence, curiosity, and academic confidence. Classrooms are prepared with authentic Montessori sensorial, practical life, language, and mathematics materials that allow children to progress at their own developmental pace. Outside the classroom, students explore the natural canyon environment of Hildale through gardening, outdoor play, and nature observation.

• Authentic Montessori Curriculum: Hands-on learning across Practical Life, Sensorial, Language Arts, Mathematics, Geography, and Science.

• Half-Day & Full-Day Schedules: Flexible weekday morning half-day sessions (8:30 AM to 12:00 PM) and full school-day sessions (8:30 AM to 3:00 PM).

• Mixed-Age Learning Community: Collaborative classroom structure that encourages peer mentoring, empathy, and social-emotional growth.

• Outdoor Nature & Creative Arts: Daily outdoor exploration, gardening, music, storytelling, and creative expression beneath the Vermilion and Canaan cliffs.
