About This Event
The St. George Museum of Art opens its winter exhibitions with Light the Night on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. at 47 E 200 N in downtown St. George. The community event includes hot chocolate, donuts, crafting activities and a live music performance. Guests can create their own luminary to light the museum's courtyard and sculpture garden, meet the incoming artists as they celebrate their openings, and be among the first to see the new artwork inside. The museum's flyer names the two winter exhibitions: Ben Steele's 45th State of Mind and Aziza Abdieva's Fear Alchemy. The flyer advertises free hot cocoa and donuts and lists Zions Bank as a sponsor. The museum is run by the City of St. George. For more holiday events, see our Christmas events in Southern Utah guide. Earlier in the season, the museum also hosts its Day of the Dead celebration on November 2.
