Samichlaus Abend (Swiss Santa Night) in Santa Clara

Santa Clara marks the Swiss Christmas tradition of Samichlaus Abend (Swiss Santa Night) on December 6, 2026, on the grass across from Town Hall at 2603 Santa Clara Drive. The city's page says the event is held every year on December 6. Samichlaus (Swiss Santa) is welcomed, hot chocolate and donuts are complimentary, and the annual collectible Christmas ornament is sold. The tradition began in Santa Clara in 2020. The city's page does not post a 2026 time. Its December 2025 newsletter listed refreshments at 6:30 p.m. and the tree lighting at 7 p.m., so confirm this year's schedule with the city at (435) 673-6712.
