About This Event
St. George's Thanksgiving morning race, The Gobbler, runs on Thursday, November 26, 2026, from the Tech Ridge Pavilion at 475 Donlee Dr. The event opens at 7 a.m. and races start at 8 a.m., with the untimed Kids 1K going first so parents can watch. The timed 5K is a single loop around the perimeter of Tech Ridge on streets and trails; the 10K is two loops. Strollers are allowed (start at the back) and leashed dogs are welcome. Each participant gets the Gobbler T-shirt and sweatband, a finisher medal and a small post-race pie; register by November 15 to guarantee a shirt. After the races there are division and overall awards, bounce houses and yard games. Registration is through TriUtah on RaceEntry, where 2026 entry is currently $25 for the Kids 1K, $36 for the 5K and $47 for the 10K before the next price increase. Packet pickup is before race day; check the race website for 2026 times and location. Planning the rest of the holiday? See our Thanksgiving in St. George guide.
