What is Jellystone Park Utah?
Jellystone Park Utah is Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort Zion, a 53-acre family campground and water park at 505 S Sand Hollow Road in Hurricane, Utah, about 30 minutes from Zion National Park and 25 minutes from St. George. It has glamping cabins, about 200 full-hookup RV sites and tent sites, a 4-acre Water Zone with slides and a lazy river, and Yogi Bear character activities. It is the only Jellystone in Utah; there is none in St. George.
Local entrepreneur Scott Nielson opened the park on May 24, 2024, as a Camp Jellystone franchise, and has since expanded it. Google reviewers rate it 4.7 out of 5 from nearly 2,900 reviews. Its neighbor on Jellystone Road is The Ropes of Southern Utah, a separate ropes course and adventure park.

What is the Jellystone Water Zone?
The Water Zone is a 4-acre water park with a 45-foot slide tower, a plunge bowl and speed slides, a splash ground, a 700-foot lazy river, a heated 100-foot lap pool, kids and activity pools, hot tubs, cabanas and a lake with a beach and a floating obstacle course for ages 6 and up. Overnight guests get in free, and day passes are $29.99 for the Water Zone or $39.99 with the obstacle course; children under 2 are free.
Some slides have height minimums (42 or 48 inches), and children under 14 must be with an adult. In 2025 the Water Zone was open daily from Memorial Day weekend, then weekends only in the fall, and most attractions closed for winter in late October; the campground itself stays open year-round. Check the park's website for 2026 hours.
What else is there to do?
- On land: a jump pillow, hay wagon rides, Yogi Bear character visits, a playground, basketball, pickleball and gaga ball courts, and gem mining.
- Crafts (extra cost): tie-dye, ceramics and a build-a-bear style workshop.
- Nearby: The Ropes of Southern Utah next door, Sand Hollow State Park and Zion National Park about 30 minutes east.
