What is on the Panda Garden menu?
Panda Garden serves American-Chinese dishes with a few Japanese and Thai plates: orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken and pork, sesame and cashew chicken, General's chicken, Kung Pao chicken, Mongolian beef, walnut shrimp, shrimp egg foo young, lo mein and chow mein, fried rice, egg drop, hot and sour and wonton soups, egg rolls and cream cheese wontons, plus lunch boxes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Google diners report spending $10 to $20 a person.
The restaurant publishes two menus, Taste of Asia and Chinese Kitchen, plus a specials list with lunch boxes, and takes orders for pickup and delivery through its online ordering site. It does not publish prices on its main site, so we have not listed any; the ordering site shows current prices. Reviewers on Google most often mention the wontons, sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken and cashew chicken, and that dinners come with fried rice.
Portions are the recurring theme in reviews: large, family-style, good value. The most common complaints are that some dishes run mild and that service slows at weekend dinner rushes, which the restaurant itself warns about on its contact page.
Does Panda Garden deliver or do takeout?
Yes. Panda Garden offers dine-in, takeout and delivery. Order pickup or delivery on its online ordering site, or call (435) 674-1538 for large parties and special requests. For other questions the restaurant takes text messages at (435) 922-8533.
Panda Garden history
The Szu family founded Panda Garden in 1992, which makes it one of the longest-running Chinese restaurants in St. George. Its website says it has been voted the best Chinese food in St. George for seven consecutive years, though it does not name the contest. The freestanding building on 900 East dates from 1977.
In 2026 the business and its building were quietly listed for sale with a commercial broker, with a note that the restaurant is operating normally and should not be disturbed. Ownership could change hands; the listing says nothing about closing.
