What is The Biscuit Fix?

The Biscuit Fix is a biscuit cafe at 974 W Sunset Boulevard in St. George, Utah, that started as The Biscuit Bus food truck. Founder Brian Powell built it around a family biscuits-and-gravy recipe from his grandmother, "Gramma Loydel," and it serves scratch buttermilk biscuits as breakfast and lunch sandwiches, pot pie and dessert shortcakes. It is open every day from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The bus debuted at the St. George Downtown Farmers Market in 2023. The business was renamed The Biscuit Fix in early 2026 because of trademark conflicts with other "Biscuit Bus" companies, and it opened its Sunset Boulevard cafe on February 7, 2026. The original bus still runs at events, and the online ordering site still uses the old Biscuit Bus name.

What should you order at The Biscuit Fix?

Start with the "Fab 5." Oh Good Gravy is the original: a buttermilk biscuit smothered in sausage gravy. Mother Clucker adds crispy chicken, Nashville-style sauce and pickles, and Pop's Pot Pie tops a biscuit with chicken and creamed vegetables. For dessert, Berry Me is a strawberry shortcake and Lemon Blueberry comes with blueberry compote and homemade lemon curd. You can also build your own biscuit.
