What is The Kitchen Table in St. George?

The Kitchen Table is a family-casual, comfort-food restaurant in the Sunset Corner shopping center on North Bluff Street in St. George, Utah. Owners Charlie and Keri turned the former Porkbelly's into The Kitchen Table, and it now serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, weekend brunch, catering for 20 to 300-plus guests, and themed tea parties.

If you remember Porkbelly's Eatery at this address, this is the same spot under new owners and a new name. The owners say the idea came from a cooking show, a Chicago chef's documentary and Charlie's childhood memories of rare restaurant dinners out, and the menu leans toward smoked meats and big home-style plates.

What should you order at The Kitchen Table?

The restaurant's own signature dishes are the Island Tacos, Smoked Prime Rib, Smoked Meatloaf, Southern Benny, Blackberry Bourbon Burger and Fry Bread Tacos. At breakfast, the Southern Benny and the biscuits and gravy are the comfort picks; at dinner, the smoked prime rib and meatloaf are what the kitchen is proudest of, and weekly dinner specials start at 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
