What conference do the Utah Tech Trailblazers play in?
The Utah Tech Trailblazers joined the Big Sky Conference on July 1, 2026, after six seasons in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). Thirteen sports compete in the Big Sky, including football and men's and women's basketball. Baseball and men's soccer play in the Mountain West as affiliate members, and women's swimming and diving competes in the MPSF.
Utah Tech, the university in St. George formerly called Dixie State, played NCAA Division II until 2020 and finished its move to Division I in June 2024. The Big Sky puts it in a league with regional rivals such as Southern Utah, Weber State, Idaho State and Northern Arizona.

Where do the Trailblazers play home games?
Football, soccer and women's track play at Greater Zion Stadium on campus, which seats 10,500 for athletics. Basketball and volleyball play at Burns Arena, softball at Karl Brooks Field and baseball at Bruce Hurst Field, all on or beside the Utah Tech campus in St. George.
Greater Zion Stadium: from I-15 Exit 8, take St. George Boulevard to University Avenue (700 East) and go four blocks south; the stadium is on the left. Will call is the west-side box office facing 700 South. Student lots are free on game days; lots near the west entrance are for Trailblazer Club members and staff, and lots close 90 minutes after the game.
Burns Arena: take 1000 East to 400 South, where the street ends at the arena. Will call faces 800 East, and parking is in the lots north and east of the arena.
What is the 2026 Utah Tech football home schedule?
Utah Tech plays five home football games at Greater Zion Stadium in 2026. Three have been played (Montana State on Aug. 29, Northern Arizona on Sept. 19 and Southern Utah in the Battle for the Ax on Oct. 3), and two remain: Idaho State on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 1 p.m., and Eastern Washington for Homecoming on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 2 p.m. All games stream on ESPN+.

When does Utah Tech basketball start?
The 2026-27 basketball seasons start in November. The women open at home against Life Pacific on Monday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m. and play 18 home games under first-year coach Adam Wardenburg. The men open at New Mexico on Nov. 2, host Grace University on Nov. 4 and make their Big Sky debut at home against Weber State on Dec. 3. The Big Sky tournament is March 5 to 10 in Boise.

Buy tickets online at utahtech.evenue.net or from the Utah Tech ticket office at (435) 652-7800, open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the America First Performing Arts Center. Tickets are mobile only, and screenshots will not scan. Game-day ticket windows open 60 minutes before the start, and all sales are final.
