Operating in the Brian Head Village Mall space formerly known as Sook Jai Thai Cuisine, 1st Chair Thai & Ramen specializes in the warm, spice-rich comfort food that skiers, snowboarders, and high-country hikers crave at 9,800 feet. Everything is cooked to order with customizable spice levels, from rich slow-simmered tonkotsu and spicy miso ramen bowls topped with chashu pork and soft-boiled eggs to fragrant Red, Green, Panang, and Massaman coconut curries, classic Pad Thai, and Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao).

• Mountain Ramen Bowls: Rich tonkotsu, miso, and spicy broth ramen bowls loaded with noodles, tender meats, bamboo shoots, scallions, and seasoned egg.
