Artisans Art Gallery

Artisans Art Gallery is a local cooperative fine art and artisan craft gallery located at 94 W Center St in downtown Cedar City, Utah, showcasing original works by Southern Utah painters, potters, photographers, and mixed-media artists.

A Cooperative Showcase in Cedar City's Arts District

Directed by Steve Yates and situated along West Center Street (University Boulevard) just east of the Southern Utah Museum of Art and the Southern Utah University campus, Artisans Art Gallery serves as a year-round exhibition and retail space for Iron County creatives. In addition to displaying works by established regional artists, the gallery supports emerging youth and student artists through dedicated community showcases and participates in the Cedar City Arts Council's summer Final Friday Art Walks from June through September.

Original Fine Art, Pottery, and Local Crafts

Open Wednesday through Saturday afternoons with extended evening gallery hours during summer art walks, Artisans Art Gallery features a rotating collection of locally created pieces:

• Original Paintings and Fine Art Prints: Oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel paintings depicting Southern Utah red-rock canyons, alpine meadows, and contemporary themes.


• Handcrafted Pottery and Sculpture: Wheel-thrown and hand-built functional ceramics, stoneware, and decorative sculptures.


• Fine Art Photography, Jewelry, and Mixed Media: Framed landscape photography, artisan jewelry, woodwork, and textile arts created by Iron County makers.
