About Bridle Up Hope
Bridle Up Hope is a transformative equine-based nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring hope, confidence, and resilience in girls and women through the powerful connection between horses and personal development. Founded in spring 2023, our St. George location provides a sanctuary where participants can discover their inner strength while building meaningful relationships with horses.
Located at 1366 Bella Rosa Drive near the Virgin River, our facility offers a stunning backdrop of red cliffs and walking trails, creating the perfect environment for healing, growth, and self-discovery. Under the direction of Corinne Clayton, our programs combine traditional riding lessons with innovative personal development techniques centered around our "Habits and Horses" philosophy.
Our approach goes beyond typical equestrian instruction. We believe that horses serve as powerful teachers and mirrors, helping participants develop essential life skills including communication, boundaries, leadership, and emotional regulation. Through structured interactions with horses, participants learn principles of stillness, balance, and authentic connection that translate directly into their daily lives.
The foundation of our program is built on the teaching philosophy inspired by our founder's mother, an accomplished equestrian instructor who understood the profound impact horses can have on personal development. We emphasize relationship-building over performance, teaching participants that true partnership with horses – and in life – comes from mutual respect, clear communication, and consistent positive habits.
Our programs are designed for girls and women of all ages and backgrounds, regardless of previous horse experience. Whether participants are dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions, or simply seeking personal growth, our equine partners and experienced facilitators provide a safe, supportive environment for transformation.
Bridle Up Hope offers various program formats including individual sessions, group workshops, and specialized programs for specific populations. Each program is carefully crafted to meet participants where they are while gently challenging them to grow beyond their comfort zones.
