Driftwood Lodge

Driftwood Lodge is a locally owned historic canyon lodge located on 15 acres along the Virgin River at 1515 Zion Park Blvd in Springdale, Utah, originally founded in 1954 and owned and operated since 2006 by Hans and Christina Dunzinger.

First opened by Bill and Joyce Mundy in 1954 and lovingly stewarded for nearly five decades by Austen and Helen Excell before passing to Hans and Christina Dunzinger, Driftwood Lodge is one of Springdale's original independent lodges. Set back from the highway amid sprawling green lawns, mature shade trees, and grazing wild turkeys and mule deer, every guest room and two-bedroom suite features a private balcony or patio facing the towering red rock walls of Zion Canyon.
