Fort Zion & Virgin Trading Post

Fort Zion & Virgin Trading Post is a locally owned Old West frontier-themed restaurant, souvenir trading post, and family roadside attraction located at 1000 W State Route 9 in Virgin, Utah, designed, hand-built, and operated by Albert and Denise Anderson along the Highway 9 gateway to Zion National Park.

Cowboy Burgers, Hand-Dipped Ice Cream, Gifts, and a Frontier Petting Zoo

Unmistakable with its timber stockade walls, wooden watchtowers, waterwheel, and faux Old West town facades right on State Route 9, Fort Zion has been a favorite family photo stop for decades. Inside the Virgin Trading Post and restaurant, travelers and locals enjoy flame-broiled Cowboy Burgers, lean buffalo burgers, golden fries, and hand-dipped ice cream cones while browsing Southwestern pottery, rocks and fossils, prickly pear cactus jelly, local honey, and Western hats. Out back, kids can feed friendly llamas, goats, and miniature donkeys in the shaded frontier courtyard.

• Open Seven Days a Week on Highway 9: Open Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
