Community Thanksgiving Dinner at Red Rock Canyon School

The 53rd annual free Community Thanksgiving Dinner is on Thursday, November 26, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Red Rock Canyon School, 747 E. St. George Blvd. in St. George. The Habibian family has hosted the dinner every Thanksgiving since 1973, when Frank Habibian, then a recent immigrant, started it out of gratitude for the welcome he had received. The organizers say everyone is welcome, the meal is free, and last year's dinner served more than 3,000 meals. Red Rock Region Chocolate and Fine Foods Festival

The Red Rock Region Chocolate and Fine Foods Festival returns on January 29 and 30, 2027, at Washington County Legacy Park (the county fairgrounds) in Hurricane. Organizers Jake and Josie Potter of Red Rock Region Productions describe it as a celebration of craft chocolate and artisanal foods that connects visitors with the makers behind them. The festival's ticket page says each ticket is a pass to one four-hour session of the festival floor, with samples from vendors, scheduled speakers and presentations, a raffle entry, and People's Choice voting for favorite chocolate bar, confection and fine food; VIP tickets cover all sessions.
