Kristallnacht Memorial Service - St George Library

The St. George community gathers to remember Kristallnacht (The Night of Broken Glass), the November 9-10, 1938 pogrom against Jews throughout Nazi Germany and Austria that marked a major escalation toward the Holocaust. This solemn memorial service honors the victims and survivors while educating the community about this dark chapter in history. The evening includes readings, reflections, testimony, candle lighting, and discussion about the importance of remembering the Holocaust and fighting antisemitism and hatred in all forms.
