The Crafting Corner

The Crafting Corner is a family-owned community craft studio, maker education center, and artisan retail shop located at 215 W St. George Blvd in St. George, Utah, serving youth, adults, and families throughout Washington County. Founded by husband-and-wife artisans Heather and Dallan Bangerter, the studio provides an inclusive, hands-on creative environment where beginners and experienced makers can learn practical arts, crafts, and woodworking skills.

Hands-On Craft Classes, Mosaic Lamps, and Woodworking

Inside the St. George Boulevard storefront, Heather Bangerter leads creative workshops drawing on her professional background in jewelry design and artisan crafting, while Dallan Bangerter operates a dedicated back-of-house woodworking and handyman workshop. Together, they teach practical maker skills that empower residents to create custom pieces or launch their own craft businesses.

• Artisan & Craft Workshops: Turkish mosaic lamp crafting, crochet, custom jewelry making, vinyl artistry, and epoxy resin projects.


• Woodworking & Home Skills: Beginner woodworking, furniture restoration, and practical home handyman classes led by Dallan Bangerter.


• Youth Clubs & Community Groups: Hosted community sessions including Lego social clubs, tabletop gaming groups, life-skills workshops, and youth craft scholarships.


• Local Maker Boutique & Studio Rentals: Walk-in crafting projects, handmade gifts from local artisans, and after-hours private party rentals from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Located on West St. George Boulevard near Ancestor Square and across from Kinexus CPAs & Advisors, The Crafting Corner joins local creative spaces like The Tilted Kiln pottery studio in expanding St. George's Arts & Culture scene beyond traditional galleries into interactive community workshops.
