Trail elevation gain is roughly 300 feet, making it manageable for most fitness levels though the uneven terrain and some scrambling sections require appropriate footwear. Hiking boots or sturdy trail shoes are strongly recommended over sandals or casual shoes.

Directions from St. George



From St. George, take Interstate 15 north to Exit 27 for Toquerville. Follow Main Street through Toquerville and turn left onto Toquer Boulevard. Continue to the dirt road access point, which leads approximately 2 miles to the trailhead parking area. A high-clearance vehicle is recommended for the final dirt road section, particularly after rain. The total drive from downtown St. George takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes in normal conditions.
