Xetava Gardens Cafe

Xetava Gardens Cafe is a locally owned Southwestern and contemporary American restaurant, espresso bar, and shaded desert courtyard cafe located at 815 Coyote Gulch Ct in the Kayenta Art Village in Ivins, Utah, serving lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and craft cocktails via its attached Rusted Cactus bar.

Originally built in 1999 by Dan Pettegrew as a kiva-inspired adobe building featuring hand-carved woodwork and a signature central stone monolith, Xetava Gardens Cafe has anchored the Coyote Gulch Art Village dining scene for more than 25 years. Following nearly 18 years of stewardship by Greg Federman and his family, Utah restaurateurs Matt and Nikki MacKay and Wendy and Jason Lewis assumed ownership in late 2024, expanding service to seven days a week while preserving the cafe's beloved courtyard atmosphere and scratch-made menu.

Open Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Xetava Gardens Cafe offers indoor kiva seating and tree-shaded patio dining:

• Scratch-Made Lunch and Dinner: Southwestern and contemporary American entrees, artisan salads, gourmet sandwiches, tacos, and seasonal dinner specials.


• Weekend Brunch and Espresso Bar: Saturday and Sunday brunch served from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM alongside specialty espresso drinks, lattes, and fresh pastries.


• The Rusted Cactus Bar: On-site craft cocktail, wine, and Utah beer bar operating Monday through Saturday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
