86th Annual Handel's Messiah

The Orchestra of Southern Utah presents its 86th annual performance of Handel's Messiah on two nights, Sunday, December 13, and Monday, December 14, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., at the Heritage Center Theater, 105 N 100 E in Cedar City. The orchestra titles this year's presentation "Good Tidings to Zion" and describes it as a holiday tradition that brings together orchestra, choir and community in a celebration of hope, joy and reverence. George Frideric Handel's oratorio has been performed in Cedar City for generations, and the orchestra notes that families return to it year after year. Both nights share the same program, so concertgoers can choose the evening that fits their schedule. The orchestra says tickets go on sale in November 2026 through its online box office, linked from its website. Check the orchestra's concert page for prices once sales open.
