SUU Men's Basketball Home Opener vs. West Coast Baptist

Southern Utah University men's basketball opens its 2026-27 regular-season home schedule against West Coast Baptist College on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 8 p.m. at the America First Event Center in Cedar City. The Thunderbirds already played one exhibition at home, a 78-51 win over Ottawa University Arizona on October 12, so this is the first game of the season that counts on their record. The SUU events calendar lists the game from 8 to 10 p.m., and the athletics schedule notes it will stream through ESPN's Big Sky Conference channel for fans who cannot make it to Cedar City. Ticket and seating information is on the SUU Athletics site, suutbirds.com. The Thunderbirds play two more home games that week, against Grace University on November 5 and Bethesda University on November 7, before heading out on the road. Their first Big Sky Conference home game is December 3 against Idaho State. For other things to do in town that week, see our Cedar City events calendar.
