Toquerville Trails Turkey Trot

The 22nd annual Toquerville Trails Turkey Trot starts at 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 26, 2026, at Center Street Park, 425 W Center St in Toquerville, just north of LaVerkin. The start and finish are both in the park. This is a trail run, not a road race: the course runs over Toquerville's rough, rocky trails and much of it is in soft sand, including a rocky creek bed. Runners choose a short course of about 1.8 miles or a long course of about 3.1 miles, and this year a new 1.1-mile stroller course loops through town on paved streets. Registration is $30 per person on RunnerCard, with online registration closing November 25 at 9 p.m. Day-of registration and number pickup are at the park from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Race shirts are included while supplies last. Every participant gets a medal, and anyone who beats race director Layne Garner, who turns 70 this year, gets an "I Beat The Turkey" sticker. Excess proceeds benefit Toquerville City parks.
