Looking for a pumpkin patch in Utah this fall? How do I find a pumpkin patch near me in Utah?
Utah pumpkin patches cluster in two places: the Wasatch Front and Utah County in the north, and the farms around St. George and Cedar City in the south. Most open in mid to late September and close between October 28 and 31. Find your region below, then check the farm's website or Facebook page the day you go, because hours change on weekends and patches can sell out late in October.
Southern Utah has fewer patches than the north, and only one in Washington County, so families in St. George often drive an hour north to the Iron County farms around Cedar City. Utah County and the Salt Lake and Davis County suburbs have the big corn-maze farms with a dozen attractions and timed tickets.

Staheli Family Farm, Washington
The only confirmed pumpkin patch in the St. George area for 2026. The patch is inside the farm's ticketed fall festival, so you need a general admission ticket; children 2 and under are free. Admission also covers the corn maze, petting zoo, cow train, hayrides, jumping pillow, zip line and slides, and pumpkins are priced by size. The farm is at 3400 S Washington Fields Rd and is open Monday to Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. through October 31. No pets except service animals. Our Staheli Family Farms guide covers the add-ons, Field of Screams and the October witch events.
Cedar City and Iron County
Robinson Family Pumpkin Patch on Industrial Road in Cedar City and Judd Pumpkin Patch in Paragonah, about 20 miles north, both run through October 28 this year. Neither posts 2026 hours online; Judd has been cash only in past years, so bring cash and call ahead. Nature Hills Farm in the foothills above Enoch opens its patch from October 1 until the pumpkins run out. Kanarra Scare at Frisby Farms in Kanarraville pairs a patch with a haunted house through Halloween.
Hurricane: The Farm
The Farm in Hurricane runs a fall season through November 26, Monday to Saturday, with a corn pit, zip lines, a petting zoo, a tractor train and a haunted house. General admission is $15 and is sold online only. Its 2026 website does not list a pumpkin patch, so go for the farm activities rather than to pick a pumpkin.
Pumpkin patches in Northern Utah

We have not checked each of their 2026 hours, so confirm with the farm. Gardner Village in West Jordan runs WitchFest in October but has no pumpkin patch.
When is pumpkin season in Utah?
Most Utah pumpkin patches open between the middle and end of September and close on or just before Halloween. In 2026, Staheli Family Farm and Black Island Farms run September 18 to October 31, Rowley's Red Barn's Santaquin festival September 19 to October 30, and the Robinson and Judd patches in Iron County through October 28. The best pumpkins are picked in the first two weeks of October.
Are pumpkins included with admission?
Usually not. Staheli Family Farm sells pumpkins separately by size after you pay admission, and small Iron County patches have sold them by the pound. Black Island Farms is an exception: its pumpkin patch hayride ticket includes one pumpkin.
Tips for visiting a Utah pumpkin patch
- Go on a weeknight or early Saturday: October weekends are the busiest days at every farm.
- Buy tickets online: some farms, like The Farm in Hurricane, don't sell tickets at the gate.
- Bring cash for small farms: family patches in Iron County may not take cards.
- Dress for dust and cold: St. George is warm in October, but Cedar City evenings can drop near freezing.
- Leave the dog home: many farms, including Staheli, allow service animals only.
- More fall fun: see our St. George pumpkin patches and Halloween events roundup and fall things to do.
