St. George's Own In-N-Out

In-N-Out Burger opened its St. George restaurant on August 14, 2026, at 4643 S Pioneer Rd, at the Sun River Parkway interchange on the south end of the city. It is the chain's second restaurant in Washington County, after the Washington City location on Telegraph Street about eight miles north, and the southernmost In-N-Out in Utah. Hours are 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, the same schedule the company keeps at every restaurant.

What the Company Said at Opening

In-N-Out's opening announcement lists one drive-thru lane, indoor seating for 84 guests and a covered patio with seating for 76. The restaurant opened with about 40 associates at a starting wage of $17.50 an hour and planned to keep hiring in the months after opening. The manager, Jared Deadder, had been with In-N-Out for 14 years at the time of the opening. The company remains family-owned by the Snyder family, founders Harry and Esther Snyder having opened the first stand in 1948, and none of its restaurants are franchised.

The Menu

The menu is the short one the chain has kept since 1948: hamburgers, cheeseburgers and the Double-Double, french fries, shakes in chocolate, strawberry and vanilla, and soft drinks. The company says its patties are made from whole chucks boned and ground by its own butchers, delivered fresh and never frozen; produce is prepared daily in the restaurant; fries are hand-diced from whole potatoes; and shakes are made with real ice cream. The St. George location's page notes that the restaurant uses no heat lamps, freezers or microwaves. Regulars order off the unposted "not-so-secret" menu, which includes Animal Style burgers and fries, Protein Style lettuce-wrapped burgers and grilled cheese. Gift cards are sold in the restaurant.

Getting There and Beating the Line

The restaurant sits just off I-15 Exit 2 at Sun River Parkway, which makes it a natural stop for drivers coming up from Las Vegas and Mesquite as well as for the SunRiver, Desert Color and Bloomington neighborhoods. New In-N-Out openings draw long drive-thru lines for months, and this one is no exception at lunch, after school and on weekend evenings. The counter inside is usually quicker than the single drive-thru lane, and the patio has the shade that south St. George summers require. Late-night hours make it one of the few places in St. George serving a hot meal after midnight.
