Lin's Fresh Market East St. George (Mall Drive)

Lin's Fresh Market East St. George is at 2928 East Mall Drive, on the east side of the city. It's one of three Lin's stores in Washington County, and it's the only one where Lin's lists both a Starbucks and a Dairy Queen inside the store.

Lin's began in Cedar City, where founders Lin and Reva Orton opened the first store on Main Street more than 50 years ago. Associated Food Stores, the Salt Lake City grocery cooperative, bought the company in 1999, and the stores still operate under the Lin's name.

Store Hours

The grocery store is open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.

Pharmacy

The pharmacy is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Call the pharmacy directly at 435-773-6801. The main store line is 435-773-6800.

Starbucks and Dairy Queen Inside

The in-store Starbucks is open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, so you can grab coffee on the way to work or while you shop. The Dairy Queen is open 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and noon to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. On a hot St. George afternoon, a Blizzard after the grocery run is an easy sell with kids.

Fresh Departments

Lin's describes its stores as offering fresh produce, a from-scratch bakery, natural and organic products, full-service grocery and deli departments, and butcher blocks. Shoppers can use the weekly ad, digital coupons and the Lin's Perks rewards program to save.

A Growing Part of St. George

East St. George has changed a lot in recent years. New subdivisions, schools and parks have filled in land around Mall Drive and toward the Washington Fields area, bringing thousands of new households. Many of those families would otherwise drive to central St. George or Washington for groceries. A store on Mall Drive gives these neighborhoods a close, full-service option with a pharmacy, plus a coffee counter for early mornings.

The location also works for people who live in Washington or near the Virgin River trail system and want to avoid heavier traffic on St. George Boulevard and River Road.
