What is Rowley's Red Barn in southern Utah?

Rowley's Red Barn - Southern Utah is the Washington, Utah store of the Rowley family's fruit farm in Santaquin. At 471 W Telegraph St, it sells homemade ice cream from the family creamery, the Original Cider Slush with Ice Cream, fruit shakes, fresh-pressed apple cider and juice, scratch-made doughnuts and other bakery treats, and produce and groceries, most of them from Utah companies. It is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and closed on Sunday.

History

The Rowleys have grown fruit since 1913; Phil and Shirley Rowley started the Santaquin farm in 1984 and built the original Red Barn there in 1999. The family opened its second store, in Washington, in 2013. It spent about ten years in Cotton Town Village and moved to its larger Telegraph Street building in early 2024.

What to Try

• Ice cream: flavors such as Caramel Apple, Pumpkin Pie, Huckleberry, Peaches 'n Cream and Dark Chocolate Habanero rotate through the case.

Is the Fall Festival Here?
