Red Bull Rampage 2026

Red Bull Rampage is an invite-only freeride mountain bike competition held in the desert cliffs outside Virgin, Utah. It started in 2001, and 2026 is the 20th edition, marking 25 years of big-mountain freeride. Rampage is judged, not timed: each rider picks and builds a line from the top of the mountain to the bottom with a small dig crew and no power tools. On finals day each rider gets two runs, and the higher-scoring run counts.

For 2026, Red Bull moved the event back to the original 2001-2004 site on Kolob Terrace Road, which Red Bull calls the tallest Rampage venue ever, with about a 678-foot drop from the start gate to the finish. For the first time, men and women drop from the same start gate.

How to watch: both competition days stream live and free on Red Bull TV and the Red Bull Bike YouTube channel, so you don't need a ticket to watch from home. In 2025 the U.S. stream was on ESPN+ only; if the YouTube stream is blocked where you are, check the official Red Bull Rampage page for the current U.S. option.

Weather can move the dates. Rampage depends on wind and weather, and in 2025 Red Bull pushed both competition days back a day. Check the official page the morning of each competition before you drive out.

Tickets are sold online only through Red Bull's ticketing partner Leap, and nothing is sold at the gate. As of September 26, 2026, prices ran from $150 for a one-day GA Hike + Bike ticket to $620 for Experience VIP, plus a $1.50 fee per ticket. The men's-day Hike + Bike and the 2-day GA Shuttle tickets were sold out. Every attendee needs a ticket, including children, and everyone signs a waiver on arrival.

Every ticket type involves walking over rough terrain: Hike + Bike tickets mean biking or walking in about 1.5 miles on a dirt road, and GA Shuttle and Premium Parking tickets end with about a half-mile walk. Spectators stay in designated viewing areas near the finish. Bring water, snacks, sunscreen and layers; pets, drones and personal motorized vehicles aren't allowed, and no alcohol is sold on site.
