Costco Wholesale (Desert Color)

Costco Wholesale (Desert Color) is the second Costco warehouse in St. George, located at 4700 S. Desert Color Parkway in the south end of the city. Costco lists the warehouse's opening date as March 13, 2026, and it serves the fast-growing Desert Color, Sun River and Bloomington areas alongside the original St. George warehouse on the north side of town. Shopping requires a Costco membership.

Warehouse Hours

Costco publishes two sets of hours for this location. Gold Star and Business members can shop Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Executive members get early access, starting at 9 a.m. every day. Gas Station

The gas station keeps longer hours than the warehouse: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays, 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday and 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. For drivers heading south on I-15 toward Mesquite and Las Vegas, or north after a trip, a fuel stop at the Desert Color exit is a practical option, especially in summer when an early-morning fill-up avoids the worst of the afternoon heat.

Pharmacy, Optical and Hearing Aids

The warehouse has a pharmacy, open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and closed Sunday. The pharmacy phone is (435) 215-1081. Costco notes that when only one pharmacist is on duty, the pharmacy may close for 30 minutes between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. The location also has an Optical Department, (435) 215-1619, and a Hearing Aids center, (435) 215-1953.

Tire Service Center

The Tire Service Center runs on the same hours as the warehouse, and Costco recommends booking ahead at costcotireappointments.com. Walk-ins are accepted based on bay availability. The tire center phone is (435) 215-1578. Southern Utah's summer pavement temperatures, long highway drives and trips on the gravel roads around the region are hard on tires, so a nearby tire center on the south side of the city saves a drive across town.

Groceries and Departments

Costco lists fresh produce, a fresh deli and rotisserie chicken among the departments at this warehouse, along with bedding, furniture and a T-Mobile cellular kiosk. A food court, (435) 215-4050, is on site. Wheelchairs are available for shoppers who need them.

Why a Second Warehouse Matters

Washington County has been one of the fastest-growing areas in the country, and much of that growth is south of the Virgin River in Desert Color, Little Valley and the neighborhoods around the Southern Parkway. Before this warehouse opened, those residents drove to the north end of St. George for a Costco run. A second location near the I-15 Desert Color exit shortens that trip for south St. George and for shoppers coming up from the Arizona Strip, and it spreads out the crowds that built up at the original warehouse.
