What to Expect at Texas Roadhouse in St George

Texas Roadhouse is the national steakhouse chain's St. George, Utah location, on Red Cliffs Drive on the city's east side. It is a big, loud, family-style room: country music, peanut-and-roll baskets, line-dancing servers on busy nights and a bar along one side. The menu is the same one the chain runs everywhere, built around hand-cut steaks that are cut in-house, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. Every table starts with the restaurant's fresh-baked rolls and honey cinnamon butter.

Beyond steak, the menu runs to grilled and country-fried chicken, pulled pork, burgers, salmon and a kids' menu, so it works for a mixed group that includes children and people who don't want a 16-ounce ribeye. Portions are large.
